Homework assignments

  Homework #1 is due on Wednesday, January 22.

  Homework #2 is due on Wednesday, February 5.

  Homework #3 is due on Wednesday, February 12.

  Homework #4 is due on Wednesday, February 26.

  Homework #5 is due on Wednesday, March 4.

  Homework #6 is due on Monday, March 30.

  Homework #7 is due on Monday, April 13.

  Homework #8 -- the last one! -- is due on Monday, April 27.

 

 

Semester project

  Here are the general instructions for the semester project.

  Stage 1 of the project is to form a group, come up with a question, and complete some other preliminary tasks.

  Stage 2 of the project is to compile an annotated reference list that is relevant to your topic.

  Stage 3 of the project is to write an outline for your paper.  To assist you with this, you might want to make use of my guide to outlining.

  Stage 4 of the project is a rough draft.  Submit four hard copies and one electronic copy.

  Stage 5 of the project is to produce a peer review of another group’s paper.  Refer to the ENV 6438 writing rubric.

  Stage 6 of the project is to deliver an oral presentation about your group’s project.

  Stage 7 of the project is the final paper!
