When can I take the survey?
A paper survey of how you learn will be given on first day of class and is due to be returned on Monday, January 12, 2009.
THREE other online surveys will be open for completion near the end of the semester. You will get at least one week to complete the survey. The surveys may stay open for another day or so, but you are expecting that at your own risk - the system could go down, survey may get locked, etc.
When you take the survey, be sure to see

if it shows a checkmark
for
the survey in your blackboard grade sheet, you have successfully
taken the survey. -
if it shows - sign, that means you have not taken the survey;

if it shows a LOCK
, that means it got locked.
Locking takes place if you lost your internet connection or did
not finish the survey or kept it open for a long time. In the
case of it getting LOCKed, send me an e-mail immediately so that
I can unlock it.

When you click, you will get a login screen that needs a netid

Click on Computational Methods - EML 3041,

Click on Course Documents,

Click on the survey you are supposed to take.
A survey will not show up in Course Documents till it is available and will disappear when the due date is gone.
