Thesis title: Assisting Policy Making for Balancing the Efficiency and Equity of the U.S. Liver Allocation: An Analytic Hierarchy Processes (AHP) Approach.
Vijay presented a poster on his work in the 2006 USF College of Engineering IGERT Symposium.
REU Students (Research Experience for Undergraduates):
Gabriel Zayas-Caban, January 2006 – May 2006. Developed meta-heuristic methods for constrained optimization problems (a poster in the 2006 USF College of Engineering REU Symposium). He won a Meritorious Award in the 2006 Mathematical Contest in Modeling. He was also funded by my USF New Researcher Grant.
Egor Dolzhenko, June 2006 – Present. Developing and implementing meta-heuristic methods for constrained optimization problems, and designing a liver matching simulation model. He won a Meritorious Award in the 2006 Mathematical Contest in Modeling (a poster in the 2006 USF College of Engineering REU Symposium)He is also funded by my USF New Researcher Grant.

Ramzi J. Kesrouany, January 2006 – June 2006. Conceptually developed graphic toolbox for enhancing classroom teaching of deterministic OR solution methods. His paper "Graphic Toolbox for Enhancements in Operations Research Education" is published in proceedings of the 20th National Conference on Undergraduate Research. Ramzi also presented a poster in NCUR.
