Welcome!

Thank you for visiting my website :)

I received the Ph.D. in Industrial & Management Systems Engineering degree in Spring 2012, from University of South Florida (USF).
My coadvisors were Dr. Les Piegl (Computer Sciences Department) and Dr. Susana Lai-Yuen (IMSE Department), also from USF.

My main research interest focused on Knowledge-based Management Systems (KBMS), developing a framework and a computational tool for relational medical diagnosis. My technical areas of interest are Dynamic Databases and Web-based user interface.
A case study in relational diagnosis of Chronic Prostatitis was presented as an illustration, in collaboration with Antonio Rodrigues Jr., M.D. from the Fundacao de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado de Sao Paulo, Brazil.

My current research interests include bioinformatics, health care systems engineering, and knowledge and information management systems in manufacturing and service areas.

Famous quote:

"Our attitudes control our lives. Attitudes are a secret power working twenty-four hours a day, for good or bad. It is of paramount importance that we know how to harness and control this great force." Tom Blandi.
