Dr. Frank Pyrtle, III, Ph.D., P.E.

Frank Pyrtle, III is an Instructor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Florida (USF). Dr. Pyrtle joined the USF Faculty in August 2004. He graduated from Texas A&M University with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering in 1996 and 1999. He went on to earn a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and graduated in 2005. In 2011, Dr. Pyrtle was licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of Florida, with specialization in Thermal and Fluid Systems.
