Our Mission Statement
University of South Florida’s Facilities and Safety department is dedicated to providing quality facilities that are safe and to positively impact these spaces in which we learn, teach and work. Besides maintaining safe facilities, we are a department that is dedicated to customer service while achieving the best utilization and response to current and emerging needs.
Facilities and Safety collaborates with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and the College of Engineering (CoE) to ensure maintenance, renovation and construction projects and activities are performed in a safe and compliant manner. We also work in close cooperation with EHS to develop policies and procedures to promote the principles of a safe and healthy workplace while encouraging a culture of safety throughout the CoE’s operations.
Overall, we strive to enhance the integrity, quality, and values of the College’s Mission to pursue world-class engineering research, education, and innovation.
