Graphical User Interface (GUI) Application

for the Object Oriented Simulation Tool for FMS

Description

This Graphic User Interface (GUI), developed in Visual Basic 6.0, allows a user to run the Object Oriented Simulation Tool. This application will offer the user a GUI to create and modify cell designs, machines and parts rather then the text files used in Object Oriented Simulation Tool (OOST). The program uses MS Access as the backend database which stores all cell, machine and part information. Once the inputs are selected, the input text files (similar to the OOST) are automatically generated by the application and the C++ program is automatically called. The results of the simulation are displayed in a set of output files placed in the files folder.
