Structural engineers plan and design all types of structures: bridges, buildings, dams, tunnels, tanks, power plants, offshore drilling platforms. Structural engineers are the one in charge of analyzing structural forces design the right structure to hold those forces. The Structural engineers is in charge of selecting the right kind of material, and the structural component so it will maintain the adequate stability.
Transportation Engineer. They are the ones in charge in the design of the major highways, road, airports, and any system of mass transportation.They also design ports and railroads. Transportation engineers are also in charge in the design of the system to transport oils, gas and other goods.
Environmental engineers. they are the one in charge in the design and maintenance involved with water and its distribution. They are also in charge in the design and operation of pollution control in the water. Other areas in charge are garbage disposal, toxic waste, sewage treatment plants.
Water resources engineer. They are in charge of the development of harbor and rivers. They are also in charge of irrigation and drainage and maintenance of hydroelectric power facilities.
Geotechnical engineer. they are in charge of analysis of soil and rocks that are needed in the construction of roads, tunnels, and underground facilities.
Surveying. They are in charge in the location where properties are going to be build. They also check the elevations, boundaries, and alignment of the terrain where the property will be build.
Construction engineer. They are in control of entire construction projects. They will in charge from the beginning to the end. Construction engineer will determine the equipment, personnel, organization, and method of construction.
