Kevin Young

Kevin Young is working toward his Masters of Chemical Engineering. His research centers around using Mexican cactus to remove contaminants in drinking water. He enjoys spending time with his doberman, Caesar, listening to music, coffee breaks, and DDR. He is a recipient of the USF STARS fellowship that will take him through his doctorate. He hopes to parlay his graduate studies into a career centering around water systems. He is a native Floridian, hailing from Plant City, the Winter Strawberry Capital of the World, and is the first member of his family to receive a bachelor's degree.
