My name is Monica Escobar. I am originally from Bogota, Colombia-South America. I am an undergraduate student in Chemical Engineering. I decided to be in this career because it gives a wide area of professional fields to work in after my graduation. Some of my interest are in food processing, pharmaceutical, cosmetic science and perfumery. My job in this research group includes managerial and scientific tasks that help me experience of what is to become a Chemical Engineer. Right now I am assisting three graduate students in their research projects, that goes from the green chemistry to the biomedical engineering. In my free time I love to play tennis and watch movies.
