Research Summary

Research Program. We focus on developing realistic in vitro model systems of tissue regeneration and cancer metastasis using tissue engineering and microfabrication. These models are then used for interogating biological mechanisms and identify key players involved in these processes. Novel drug delivery platforms are designed for suitable delivary of therapeutics.

Welcome to the Protein Engineering and Dynamic Living Systems Laboratory. We are located in the Kopp Engineering Builiding at the University of South Florida, Tampa Campus. Our lab is part of the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at the University of South Florida.

Our research program focuses on applying engineering tools like tissue engineering, protein engineering and microfabrication for regenerative medicine and cancer. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the research, we have a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary collaborations with dermatologists, pathologists, biologists and cancer oncologists.

Openings

We are always looking for motivated graduate students to join our group. Our group is multidisciplinary and accepts students from many departments accross campus. Interested students should email Professor Koria with their CV.

Interested undergraduate students are also welcome to email Prof Koria with their CV's.
