Ceramic Matrix Composites: Aircraft Applications

Page Numbers of Book : 45 Ceramic Matrix Composites

Summary: This video is discussed about GE Aviation's development of high temperature materials including ceramic matrix composites and titanium alumnide. These technological innovations will improve fuel efficiency and lower emissions. These materials can be used in hot gas products such as combustion engine, turbine & exhaust. These material can allows the engineers to design more efficient components that’s operate in high temperature & used much less cooling air than other required.
