Summary: This video demonstrates the prepreg process and preparation to vacuum bagging. Prepregs require both pressure and temperature to cure these polymer composites. The vacuum bagging process; removes trapped air between the layers, compacts fiber layers, evenly distributes resin, and reduces humidity. This video was created at the National Institute for Aviation Research for educational purposes.
